The key to our mutual success is our discipline. We know how to manage projects. We’re quite formal when it comes to setting expectations and making promises. We won’t surprise you cost overruns or projects that drag out and never seem to end. How does this work in practice? Most jobs start with a Requirements Document. This is usually short, but chock full of the key issues that you’ve identified in our conversations with you. Once we’ve agreed on those key issues, we develop a Statement of Work to document in clear language exactly what you can expect of us, and what we expect of you. This Statement of Work process includes signoffs for approval of the document, and completion of the project. Possibly the most important discipline is our formal change control process. We understand the need for flexibility in our rapid-pace business world. Change Control gives us a process for prioritizing and managing the impact of those changes. It is one of the most important tools that helps you control ‘Scope Creep.’ |
